Laptop or Desktop computer?

I agree with the laptop for fun (convenience) and the desktop for work.

I am always more productive , when I am on a desktop.

Even when I use a laptop , I prefer attaching a mouse to it ..I hate using the laptop scroll pad

Get a desktop... more powerful and can be upgraded. always get a bigger better monitor for a PC... stuck with laptop screen. Skip laptop all together and grab a decent android tablet if you need something mobile. battery lasts way longer with tablet and you can do email/music/browse internet just as easy.

In another post, I mentioned possibly buying an Apple computer. However their are things that need to be done this year, roof etc. So I won't be able to afford an Apple.

I currently have a desktop computer (HP) which is half running.

I like the idea of a laptop being portable around the house. I'm wondering if others find them easy to type on? The reason being the front part/extra piece where the mouse is and the keyboard 'behind' it. With a desktop keyboard, there is not that extra piece, your not stretching your hands out as much?

Some people mention desktops are on their way out. It's better to buy a laptop??

Acer, Asus, HP and Toshiba brands. Yay or nay to any of these?

Laptop. A new desktop might be more powerful (depending on the machine) but a laptop is more convenient.

Laptop battery usually gets weak after a couple of years of use. Pretty expensive to replace it. I have one laptop which I can only use, when its plugged in, that's how weak the battery has become after a few yrs of use. Too expensive to replace it & not worth it for an old laptop, might as well buy a new one.

Desktop goes on for ages.

the lap top is more better, but if you are creazy with modification on vidéo or games than you must do some changes, and in laptop it's not easy but in desktop is the top and easy to do it
