All my coupons; stacks and singles, are filed together in a drawer. Individual stacks are folded in half, and the pile of stacks is binder-clipped with a note. The binder-clips are very visible in the files and easy to grab. I don't keep stacks separated from the other coupons anymore because I was missing the opportunity to add a new upcs to forgotten stacks. The note lists the upcs, $, exp date, and TOTAL $ and # of individual stacks. I can check notes monthly and remove expired upc quickly.

The only SOF coupons that I'm aware of, are printed in their weekly savings flyer. If you already are a cardholder in the SOF More Rewards program, the SOF recommends you "Sign up for a More Rewards web account where you can manage your account, access your points balance, sign up to receive personalized emails and more."

I do what couponandoff does (mostly because I followed her around like a puppy when we first started couponing!).

I have a shoe box of all my potential stackers. A list on the front of each possible stack (on a piece of paper) of which coupons (dollar value, UPC and the number I have of them) and a total possible stack value. I also put on the top the known price or sale price.

when I'm ready to go then I take the 3-4 coupon for each stack and put them together....I fold them in half and put 5 in each black clip (or less if that's all I have) I write on the front what the product is and the price and the stack value. So I hand over one stack each time I buy one product. I say something like "$5 stack" so the cashier knows what she's looking for.

I bring the entire box in the car because you never know what is going to be on sale that isn't in the flyer and nothing SUCKS more then having to go home (and we're) 30 minutes away. I put the ones I'm going to use in the front and only bring in a couple types at a time.

Care to share what the spreadsheet looks like?? I need to get so organized.

Okay. I'm totally disorganized when it comes to coupons stacking. I've got my extra coupons all in a clear plastic. The ones I use regularly are all in a small accordion type of folder that's about 9" wide by about 5" high & was about 3" deep & is now bursting @ the seam. I've dropped it a few times & now it's just held together by a thick rubber band. Needless to say, I'm off to Dollarama in search of a new one. The coupon binder is out of the question for me to lug around as 90% of the time I have a 4 yrs old in tow & don't need to play "let's watch mommy p/u all the coupons" off the floor. When I do go stacking @ SOF or LD, I will have them paper clipped in a small pile. I do like the idea of the shoe box, so perhaps some of you can post what the pics looks like & help some of us get more organized. And, yes, it does suck when we leave all our coupons @ home. When I go shopping with DS, I just bring my whole bag of coupons with me & leave it in the car & run back out if I need it.

I really like the idea of a spread sheet. I can fold the spreadsheet and use it for dividers in the box and have spaces left to cross off the outdated and write in the new ones. I am going to go ahead and do it this way with each stack paper clipped together... those small coupons just get lost and it becomes a pain if you don't.

When I was stacking at LD.. i still do on occasion ... I would just pull my stacks from my coupons and put them in a envy. This method will be nothing but chaos at SOF. There are just so many more items to stack and it will be easy to loose track. I will also put in some blank paper to fold into transactions if needed... then I can write 4 melitta stacks 4 janes ect until it gets to the magic bonus points number. This will work for those pre paying/ordering as well to keep stuff organized.

Thanks so much for sharing your methods!

I use the photo boxes from Michael's.....they go on sale for $2/each and they have dividers included so it makes it easy! I just file all mine under the appropriate tabs. I don't "batch" stacks together (this is how I store my traders/extras). My own "stash" I use one of those plastic accordian files that you can get at the dollar store. For individual shopping trips I also have a small accordian file that I put my coupons in (based on my pre-planned shopping list). That way I don't have to fumble around in the larger file in the store (well.....maybe once in awhile ; )
