Time to go wonder the aisles of Sobey's and decide how good the B1G1 sale is. I never trust the save up to they print as a few times I have worked it out to be a great deal, than I get there and the price doesn't match.

I was at Sobeys this morning and the flyer prices are a little confusing. Some of the "save ___ each" prices in the flyer are the actual full price of one product (i.e., Villagio buns) while others are the actual half price of the product (i.e., Kraft Cheese Bars).
Examples:
Villagio buns (p.1) states "Save up to $3.59 each". The price is $3.59 so you would pay a total of $3.59 for two when you BOGO.
Cracker Barrel Cheese Bars (p.1) states "Save up to $4.64 each". The price is just over $9.00 so you would pay a total of just over $9.00 for two when you BOGO.
It's like that throughout the flyer. Some of the BOGOs list the full price of the product while other BOGOs list the half price of the product.
I really like the concept of BOGO, especially when you can add a coupon, but I wish Sobeys had consistently listed ALL of the prices/savings one way.

Thanks for sharing (flyer and experience) all of you SC-ers. Plan to go shopping tomorrow and would like to know if Sobeys accept home printed coupons. Thanks in advance.

I am wondering if I redeem a couple of Proglide Razor FPC's, if that would count towards the spend $25 get a razor for free deal. Thoughts anyone? and do you think the register would automatically give it for free or the cashier would do it manually?
Edit: I ran out and tried this. I redeemed 2 FPC's for proglide for $12.29 each, and had to buy one other participating product to get to $25 (I chose some dishsoap). The cash register did not automatically deduct the additional free razor, but the manager had no problem with giving it to me. Yay! Total OOP $3.38 for 3 razors, and one dishsoap.Last edited by MrsMer; Thu, May 30th, 2013 at 04:11 PM.
