Pretty good site i find. Huge selection, havent been charged duties, free shipping. Only cons is because its free shipping it can take a few weeks and sometimes (risk of any online shopping) the clothes look a little different then vs online (quality wise). Worth the try, especially when theres a coupon code for sale items

how much was your purchase? I've heard if its a huge amount you'd get charged duties, so if you break it down you probably would not.
I've recently discovered www.sheinside.com
Thought it was sketchy looking but i bought a dress and it was great quality + looked exactly like the photo!

Yea you're probably right, this was a few years ago, my total was just over $100 and got it delivered by UPS had to pay over $60 for taxes/duties.. that I didn't even know about! ALSO another thing I don't like about their checkout is you don't know how much shipping is until after you made your payment, at least that's how it was for me..wth is that...I need to know my shipping before I make a purchase not after that's very important to me..overall I did not like the way their site went..I don't know if they'v changed it since, but I prob. won't be making another purchase.
I need to know everything upfront! what I'm paying, for what and how much. I don't like surprises.
The clothes I received 98% of them were very big..except one was too small -_- I'm not sure if the size guide is the same for all the clothes on their site or if it's different for every item. but yea..that was my not so nice experience.
I feel like anything that I buy that's overseas..is gonna charge me taxes/duties, because I'v ordered many times from the US and never got charged taxes/duties.. :/
/A site I'v been liking is shoruche.com it's kind of like anthropologie/free people but cheaper, I really like their stuff it's nice, I haven't made a purchase yet but I'm going to soon, they're standard shipping to Canada is only $5.95Last edited by JDI007; Tue, Jul 1st, 2014 at 10:30 PM.

I wanted to know what your experience is with taxes/duties for you guys..
Is it true that overseas places will charge you and places like the US/rest of Canada will not?
If anyone's ever ordered online..where have you been charged? from where?
or does price really matter? I heard on the customs site that the safe range is $35 or so and anything over will charge you.. but I'v ordered stuff(from the US) that was over the limit and haven't gotten charged.
I'm so confused by this and I hate stupid taxes/duties.

Yes, nothing like the convenience of shopping from home!
I frequent alloyapparel[.com] and most certainly Amazon. If you like Amazon, I recommend paying the annual fee and signing up for their Prime service which includes free 2-day shipping on many items. I only paid half the annual price to sign up for Prime because I'm a student

I used to shop from forever21 online but I found their quality to be terrible. I have started shopping at Get Me Posh for dresses and tops and I'm loving it.
