Lowest price for walnuts and almonds?

I have recently had an offer to go to Costo occasionally with a friend. I am wondering if their nuts are the cheapest? Or, are bulk barn on special? I have been eating a lot for health reasons so would love to be sure to get the most for the money.

Hope to find out before I go so I can plan on how much to get.

Hi Suzanne, I too am on the health kick - Type 2 Diabetes - and nuts are my safe-favorite go-to snack. I usually get mine at Bulk Barn too ( when they're on sale I stock up big time ) Sobey's used to have good deals -$2/lb on all nuts- in their bulk section but I found the nuts were always 'stale' so I stopped. The price sure has gone up over the past year so, if anyone knows of better deals please pass it on ) Erica
