not a crazy good deal because i have been saving my SDM points thinking i can redeem them all for a big item and pay nothing. LOL but found out i can only redeem the max level for $170 per transaction. Oh well. I've been wanting a DSLR camera for a long time and finally got one through SDM redemption today: Canon T5 rebel reg. $499.99, sale $379.99 - $170 (redeemed 95000 points) = OOP $230 and will get $40 worth in points back later. So $190 for the camera.
i've been playing with it all afternoon and just loving it, my hubby said i have a big grin on my face like a kid.
next year list will be an external flash and another lens lol i can dream
Edit: forgot I also got a personal offer 8000 points when you spend $60. So the final price of the camera us $180Last edited by Purdee; Mon, Nov 28th, 2016 at 04:25 PM.

A hopeful brag for something that may happen within the next week...
One of my roommates friends is looking to donate food to a local food bank and asked for my help in figuring out a reasonable shop with a $20 limit to see how much we can get for that with couponing. He said that he and my roommate have friends in the Brock University Press Newspaper and the Niagara College Newspaper and that they may be able to get a story put out on this!!
I can say this for sure, If I get this spot in the paper, I will definitely be mentioning Smart Canucks as a major source for couponing for me!!
Hope it all works out!

Awesome brags everyone!
I wanted to post my Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals and got majority of my Christmas shopping done.
Black Friday
3 dress shirts 50% for my father from Old Navy and Gap. They were $80 all together but they were good quality and they were dad approved. My father is super picky and I would rather buy him something he loves.
I got myself a flannel shirt and my mother a blue sweater for 50% off at Old Navy. Also received 2 supercash that I can use later.
Bought a couple of face masks from The Face Shop with 40% off. I got about 6 for $6 and I love their face masks.
Bought my sister a L'Occitane hand cream set from the Bay, 10% off and free shipping. I also had a $10 gift card so paid $22 out of pocket. I also got ebates cashback.
Cyber Monday deals
I have been eyeing this ugly Christmas sweater that I really wanted, although it was $33. It was 21% off regular price and free shipping and I got ebates cashback. It's a bit more that I would pay for a sweater but I convinced myself that I will wear it next year too.
I also bought my sister a Keurig 50 for Christmas for $50 plus free shipping. I also have a $10 evoucher, so paid $45 out of pocket.
I bought some Movie Night Tea from Davids tea online. It was 25% off and free shipping, and Davids Tea rarely have sale on regular price or free shipping online, so I thought I should stock up.
And I paid for a subscription for a meal delivery services GoodFood for $20,the first box was 75% off and there was an ebates cashback of $7.50.Last edited by ashp; Tue, Nov 29th, 2016 at 02:52 PM.

I've started couponing ahead of my meet up with my roommates friend for the food bank, I'd say pretty darn successful so far, but definitely more to come...

MORE Flamingo Chicken (2): $15.98 - $10.00 WUB2 - 10%($0.60) - $3.00(Coupgon) + 1,000PC = $1.38/2 (For my roommates)
RCSS (1st Transaction):
Aylmer Can Tomato (4): $4.00(RCSS) - 10%($0.40) - $2.00(2 @ $1 WUB2) = $1.60/4

thats amazing! I don't know if you want the frozen Flamingo chicken strips, nuggets etc, but this week until Thursday independent has buy 2 boxes at $7.99 each=$15.98 they deduct $10.00 right away =$5.98 less the $3.00 for each one, you get them for free! I don't usually buy frozen chicken strips, but these one's are pretty good, and I make a wrap for the kids etc. I put 2 in a tortilla with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions and lettuce with your favourite dressing and you have an amazing Tim Hortons wrap!
