Also forgot to mention it was $6.97 for the sandwich or $8.97 for the combo.

Yes... keep in mind that Quiznos ads also footnote that it's only 51% lobster meat, and the rest is imitation crab meat (usually artificially flavoured pollack) so it's no wonder it's not 'great' and that it's salty.
51% is what is legally required for them to advertise it as a "lobster" sub.
Also, just FYI, the 51% is in the base blend as it is in the container that's shipped to stores. And that's not necessarily a congruent and homogenous mix. There's no assurance that you're getting 51% lobster on any particular sub. In fact, there's a chance you might not be getting any at all if the scoops from the bin to your sub come up against your odds. Just saying.
At least McDonald's is 100% lobster meat.Last edited by bhlombardy; Wed, Jul 24th, 2013 at 08:42 PM.

Saw it advertised at the McDonald's in Whitby @ Brock and Consumers Road yesterday. I may have to try one!
ROAK a Huggies or Pampers code to my local pregnancy centre- toys, clothes, food & diapers always needed!

I honestly thought it was a joke when I read about it on another website. Apparently lobster is cheap lately and McDs is getting the lobster (mostly claw) from highliner. I went to mcds today and saw it on the menu with my own eyes. Lol. :-D

I used to work for McDs. No way I'm ever eating a mclobster.
And the pizzas were a pain in the butt. Used to burn my hands and arms on the ovens all the time. But they were good to eat.

Make sure they fill your sandwich properly when you order one.
They are known to be stingy with this and give you some half filled sandwich as lobster is expensive.
Unlike Burgers , where they have to put a standard sized patty in ..with sandwiches like this they can get away with some half filled stuff. So the quantity varies from location to location
