Thread: Vector cereal

So I wrote a lengthy e-mail to Vector cereal yesterday describing how often my Boyfriend goes through boxes of their product in a matter of months. When Vector is on sale, we buy FLATS of it, and occasionally buy the store out (seriously.) One jumbo box lasts him two days. I told Vector how impressed I was with their nutritional information, especially since my boyfriend is a triathlete, he needs all the yummy stuff for his training.
This is what they e-mailed me back Yay!
Dear Miss ******:
Thank you for taking the time to contact us on-line. It is always very gratifying to hear from loyal users of Kellogg products like yourself. We appreciate your interest in our company.
Kellogg coupons and samples are made available to consumers through a number of methods. You may find them included in direct household mailings, newspapers, at the retail shelf and sometimes in-store special events demonstrations as well as Canadian magazines. In addition, you can locate them either outside product packages or enclosed inside the packages. Kellogg's does not supply coupons or samples in any other way.
As a one time gesture of goodwill, we will be sending a couple of discount voucher. Please allow 5 to 10 business to receive.
We hope this information is helpful. Once again, thank you for contacting us.
Sincerely,

It was lengthy, like 8 paragraphs long. I told them I was embarrassed at first to be bringing up FLATS of the cereal, like 32 boxes of JUMBO Vector cereal to the cashier when we first started buying in bulk (with no coupons, just sale), but then realized how much we were saving.
I also lied and said I loved the cereal (I don't like the crunchy-ness of it, it hurts my teeth!) lol.

Good for you. You sure can use the coupons with all the cereal you buy. I like it too but only buy a box once in awhile. Thanks for sharing.

I haven't tried this cereal but what's a good sale price for the JUMBO size and where/when might they have the sale?
(before coupons)
I've been looking through flyers the past 2 weeks and nothing..

That is wonderful! It's too bad I did not know you needed some because when the Kelloggs had the blitz at the beginning of the year I had some I printed and threw away. I hva nver tried it and after your funny "crunchy-teeth" comment, I would have the same issue. DH has strong teeth like a woodchipper, but not me. Shucks, could have had a few more coupons. If it happens again this campaign, post that you are looking for them and I will gladly order them for you. Congratulations on your first excursion and achieved success. Continued ventures. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Thank you for sharing.
