Why the heck isn't there always leftover roast pork in the fridge to do this, lol.... sure beats coldcuts any day!

For tomorrow, using up some leftovers from the fridge. I have pasta, ground beef cooked with homemade taco seasoning, and some salsa, maybe some cheese on top. It might be a bit hot for DH, but we'll call it Mexican lunch.

We had pizza for supper tonight, DS will get a a piece of that for lunch. It's his eighth birthday tomorrow, so he gets tasty things, including a birthday tradition, cake for breakfast - in this case, tuxedo cake from Costco. Oh, if you haven't tried that, you should. I had it for the first time on my 40th birthday, it's SO good. DS's fave too.

Had leftover rice with onions - from making cabbage rolls earlier in the week.

wasn't the best, pork was dry and the burrito was soggy.

Tomorrow's lunch will be leftovers from tonight's supper. Home made hamburger soup with lots of veggie in it, with buttered bread, and a glass of milk. I'm thinking about baking banana chocolate chip muffins, so I could have that too.

edit: I think I will make zucchini muffins instead. I'll find out if LO will eat these.
