My DS is eight, and his favourite protein by far is salmon. Unfortunately he does not agree with our going out and catching it, he cannot bear the idea of killing a creature. Would be much cheaper if he'd go for this!
Tonight DH (who does not like fish) is out, so DS and I had seafood chowder. I have a fair bit of leftover cooked fish though, might have to freeze it.

Lunch will be at the Legion after the parade and laying of the wreaths ceremony. This includes hot soup (yay), sandwiches, cheese, crackers, paté, potato salad, macaroni salade, cole slaw, marinades, etc. And lots of dessert. Yummy!
