Dialogue exchange between my inanimate cookware and I
Cido: ( Cast Iron Dutch Oven ) hey! are ya gonna let me sit full of this stale cooking oil forever??
me: who said that?
Cido: yeah, act like you don't know I've been here on the counter since Halloween!
me: Time to cook that roast up, geesh I don't want to pressure cook this one though....maybe
I'll wash the oil pot out, that one can withstand oven cooking temps and has a nice tight
fitting lid!
Cido: Helllllooo! gee ya think?
me: I should have used this one last time for the roast, such a lovely deep, sturdy pot.
Cido: About time!! Honestly! It is like talking to the wall here!!Last edited by walkonby; Sun, Jan 8th, 2017 at 11:27 AM.

Vote for Dave, Dave is the rave. He is a boy honest and fine Davey can turn all your water to wine, got that certain something every one should have gettin round to diggin yourself.

Ummmm..Honeyyyyy...?? Hello? Am I talking to @walkonby or CIDO? Please put Walks on. Thank you.
So, Walks....I'm not sure how to approach this little, let's just say, "problem" you've been experiencing lately. We all go through times when we feel alone, isolated in our kitchens, and heaven knows it's been your personal playground prior to and through Christmas, but it's time to put that pot down and do some serious reflecting.
How often do you talk to or feel the urge to verbally represent your cookware?
Do you feel they're your friends?
I do worry about you and I hope that one day you'll be able to face your problems and seek help. There is help out there, Sweetheart, don't be embarrassed, there's no shame in looking outside your kitchen for help.
Please do so before your cookware completely takes over your personality.
(although they are amusing and have a lovely, sarcastic sense of humour)

@walkonby i really thought that was more than psycho. You know in this marvelous province we live in you can get real help though our health care system for a nominal fee, may take a couple of years but you will get it unless they make more cut backs.
I had Alphabet soup and crackers for lunch. Wasn't referring to you walkonby when i typed CRACKERS!Vote for Dave, Dave is the rave. He is a boy honest and fine Davey can turn all your water to wine, got that certain something every one should have gettin round to diggin yourself.
