The previous owners of our house installed a Peaksaver thermostat and obviously joined this program. We do not wish to be a part of the program. Does anyone know how to withdraw from the program or disable the switch for the program to control my thermostat?

I'd read this information. Looks like if you don't have an air conditioning unit, you might have an advantage.

When you go to this link, there are links to Participant and Installation Agreements. See what they indicate.

i think you just need to call the number on the thermosat and ask them to come remove it and they will even reinstall the old one.
