Expired on: Tue, Dec 10th, 2013Welcome to the ‘Cater to the Chef’ Package Train!There is NO price limit. However, there is a limit in # of items.
Boarding Closes: Nov 1 @ 7am EST or when we reach 13 riders.
Mail Date: Nov 20
Tracking Numbers MUST be PMed to Venuila & FallenPixels by 11:59pm on November 20.
You must send a minimum of 5 items (ONE EXACT wishlist item from EACH 5 sections of wishlist) to a max of 15 items PLUS 3 recipes for your buddy to enjoy.
Dollar Store Items, Samples, Trial & Travel Size Items DO NOT COUNT ~ these are sent as EXTRAS
$2+ Items from the Dollar Store (on wishlist) are considered full size items. Please place liquids in a sealed Ziploc bag!
Rider Eligibility:
-Must be an active member on SC with a 50 post minimum.
-Minimum 25 trade rating with no negative or neutrals.
-Not riding any other package train.
-Able to fulfill rider responsibilities.
Rider Responsibilities:
-To request a seat, post below with a list of current trains you are on with statement at bottom of this post.
-Once approved, please send me WL in format below within 24 hours.
-Mail package (with insurance) by mail date posted above & PM the tracking number.
-Each rider must make 5 posts before mail day & 5 posts after mail day including a thank you.
-Post when you receive the package with a picture if you can

After receiving your buddy’s wishlist, questions may be asked in the thread or you can PM me to ask buddy anonymously.
‘Click here’ for the rules of package trains in general.
Feedback upon receipt of package is MANDATORY. Please leave FB for the conductor and your buddy upon receipt of package.
Canada Post’s Venture One Program is great for saving on insurance & tracking.
IMPORTANT: If you do not send a gift or do not follow the rules you will receive 2 negative ratings; 1 from your buddy & 1 from the conductor! Neutral ratings will be left for those who do not follow the rest of the rules (even if you do send a package). You will not be able to participate in future package trains if you don't send a gift regardless of length of time. SC owner/admins/mods/poster of this thread are in no way responsible for lost /stolen/misplaced gifts.
When requesting a seat, you must include the following statement: "I have read and understand all the Package Train Rules/Guidelines. I understand if I do not follow the guidelines my name will be added to to the consequence list in the sticky and may be banned from riding future package trains”

And this is soooo my sort of train! I have to wait a day or two before confirming though. Recieved a job offer today and need to wait until I have more details before I commit to this train.

Totally love this train theme, and would love to ride, please. I am totally exhausted tonight. We just finished painting our kitchen cabinets, and now need to put kitchen back together. But I think I will be able to get a wish list together tomorrow.
Am currently riding the Keep or Exchange train, and a VWT.

I think I might give this a try. I've never done a package train before but I've been stalking a few threads and they look super fun. I don't have any kind of wishlist and I'm not even sure where to start. I'm heading to visit my parents this weekend so if the boarding is still open by Sunday I will board(pending approval) and try to get a wishlist together.
