Gaming ( Video Games)

Is anyone else here a fan of video games? If so what are your favourites?

DH and I are big fans. Well DH mostly because I don't have much time anymore.
He used to work for the company that makes Grand Theft Auto so we have all the GTA games.
We also used to play LOTS of online games like Battlefield 1942, BF2. We had a clan and played against other clans. At some point we both ranked in the worldwide top 20 gamers for BF1942 (around 2004-5). We're hoping we'll get to play BF4 in the future.

Now we mostly play games that DS can watch us play or participate in like Nino kuni, Burnout, Wii sports, Kinect dance central.
DH's man cave is like a museum, consoles like Nintendo 64 and Atari lol. Lots of merchandise and figurines.

DH played that too, but he introduced me to BF first (probably because he didn't want me near his CoD character) and since then I wasn't interested in trying anything else lol

I tried playing the BF3 Beta on PS3, It was alright, but not for me, that's all.
I play other games too, but mostly offline.

Looking forward to Call of Duty Ghosts next Tuesday.

Do you guys have BF4 already? or are you waiting awhile to get it.
Are you getting the next gen consoles?

I plan on going PC/WiiU this gen and I will likely get a PS4 in June as a grad gift

We never got to try BF3, I think we moved to Canada round that time and we had our son, so very busy time.
We don't have BF4 yet, and won't probably be able to play anytime soon with baby on the way.
DH will probably get the next gen consoles. He gets everything that comes out lol.

I'm loving the super mario 3D. Definitely something we can play and DS can play.
DS holds a controller that is not plugged in and he thinks he is playing lol.

I'm an avid gamer have been since I was little. I have a she's I got two Christmases ago but I prefer playing them on the pc. I playing mostly on the Xbox.sometimes on the Nintendo 3ds.. I love the elder scroll, gta, call of duty, fallout, mass effect (not so much the last game) series. I will try any game once. I was never a fan of playing games online too much but since gta online went live I've been having a blast racing and trying to beat survival with fellow Canucks.
