happens ALL the time for me...I even did a receipt survey last time and complained about prices not scanning properly...I will also go to customer service if I didn't notice the price difference, and I will do it even for 5 cents! We buy a lot of cheesies in our house....HD cheesies, shelf price 2.04, on 'sale' 2/$5, scans at 2.85....constantly! yup, they take my word for it, but I always whip out the cell and take a pic of shelf prices too.

I do appreciate them taking our word on it.
I had this cashier last week that barely took my word. Even if the clearance sticker was on the item that she scanned (and the price rang up as the original price). She went ahead and typed in the code on the clearance sticker (for every item - even though I had about 15 items that were clearance). She said she once had a lady come through with a $70 lamp with a $5 clearance sticker on it.
Now she doesn't trust people with clearance stickers.

Target-Upper James in Hamilton-first time that I can read the receipt easily after I purchased two things today. Each item is on two lines like Fortino's dept heading then item description/price. Not an item wordwrap that then runs on into the next item like previous store shops at other locations.

Happens all the time at my store. The employees are really great about it though. They always fix it for me. But yeah, it happens almost every time I am there.
