My eyeliner bleeds a lot and I came close looking like this everytime. I'm not about to toss it out but do you have any solutions?

I use waterproof liquid eyeliner and it never runs; maybelline to be exact.

Yes , i would like to suggest to use only waterproof eyeliner because that does not run and you look pretty by using waterproof eyeliner.

Would love to try try the liquid eyeliner. Is it easy to apply and remove afterwards?

It depends where I'm lining what I use.

If I'm lining the Lash Line, then I usually use a liquid eyeliner or fluid line by MAC.

If I'm lining the Waterline, then I usually use a regular eyeliner (like MAC pro longwear) and then go over it lightly with the same colour eye shadow (just gives it more staying power).

Loreal infallible gel liner in the pot! Once that stuff dries it's pretty much on their till you use oil based remover on it.

Depends what look you want. Cat eye takes a steady hand and a lot of practice.

I would use a waterproof/smudge proof gel or liquid eyeliner. I don't have a steady hand but here is a helpful trick. Take a slanted or thin eyeliner brush. Lightly run it on the tip of the liquid eyeliner, or gently across gel eyeliner. Apply eyeliner to eyelid. Also using an eye shadow primer along the lash line, blend it in, helps eyeliner stay put. I find Kohl pencils smudge more compared to other types. I like MAC Fluidlines, Lise Watier Feline Liquid Eyeliner. A good eye makeup remover for waterproof formulas is what works best.

I used to have the exact same problem as you for years, oily eye lids are no fun! Here is what I now use to solve the issue: Urban Decay eye shadow primer, you can get it from Sephora for about $20, and it seriously lasts for ages. My eyeliners never smudge anymore when using the primer. Hope you find that it works for you too!

A primer applied over and under the eyes makes the eyeliner stay put longer. Liquid eyeliner can be messy sometimes but you can get a hang of it after few applications. Good Luck.

i use a kohl eye pencil eg. elizabeth arden for cat eye everyday. no problems. Just practice lots and then it only takes 2 minutes to do both eyes.
I pull my eyelid taut and then go from inner to outer eye in 1 stroke.
Then take your clean finger and you can swoosh it up toward your temple for that angle up
