We only use disposables during the day, and when we have to. Cloth diapers work really well for us at night and they seem to leak less as well. LO has only leaked 1 or 2 times at night in cloth over the past seven months, which is a pretty good track record for her (because DH didn't pull the diaper cover up high enough, not because the diaper failed). We've used MotherEase, Bum Genius, and Fuzzi Bunz with success. If we put LO in disposables overnight, there will usually be a mess by morning!
I've also heard that Pampers fit better when they're younger and Huggies when they're older. I don't know how true that is, but it's worth a try!
