The Russian militants are constantly firing at the Ukrainian soldiers’ positions in the village of Opytne near the Donetsk airport.


The attacks became more frequent recently. The terrorists are using mortars, high-caliber machine guns. Besides, the militants employed a tank not so long ago.

"I could not reach my post yesterday - the shells of their automatic grenade launchers were covering the positions so dense that I was forced to fall and stay on the ground. They have been firing from morning till afternoon today. We will not surrender our land," one of the servicemen said

A truck loaded with food supplies for Ukrainian soldiers exploded while delivering the cargo to an outpost in Donbas. The device was set by pro-Russia militants



The incident took place on Sunday, as the vehicle approached Ukrainian positions. “Ural truck exploded on an anti-tank mine, set up by fighters of illegal armed units the day before. While in a state of shock, the truck driver, however, managed to save two of his comrades from the burning vehicle”, reads the message. The injured servicemen have been admitted to hospital with no life hazard reported.
