Fears about investing?

What are your fears about investing, in whatever form it may be for you.

I know I have a lot of fear when it comes to investing that I want to work through but I have not been able to pinpoint what it is.

What are some of your fears?

Get a good FP or FA and let them do the worrying for you..

I'm not afraid so much as hesitant to place my money where I can't get at it if I need it.....hence why I've now gone with ING Direct Streetwise funds......very accesible & a great rate. I guess knowledge is power. My fear of my hard earned bucks being beyond my control is telling me to dump my FP & get my money back into my own hands!! ALSO, just learned how much she is taking off me in fees!!
Best to read the books, talk to friends, get on blogs & learn. Investing money isn't difficult if you follow a few easy tips from those who have succeeded before us. The stock market is good for the long run..index funds are a proven win over the long haul...not a single stock, but an index of stocks that mimic the stock exchange...use brokerage accounts & keep your money under your own control. ING, Qtrade, & TD e-series are all great places to start to learn & invest.
SO, long story short...my fear is losing control of my hard earned bucks!!!! But I'm working on that.........

As for me, I have my fears about not only investing. But about keeping money in the banks, too. They say there are to be a finance crisis in Russia after Olympic games in Sochi.
