Shoppers Personalized coupons - sucking lately?

Love it! I found a Soft Soap on clearance for $2. Got 2000 points thanks to personalized offer.

Then got the Ritz for free by combining sale, SDM coupon and Checkout 51. Looks like the SDM personalized offers are back haha

As usual, depends on the cashier. I asked if I could and she said it is not the $ off coupon, just pay $1.99. Good luck!

No go. I tried at two different stores and neither would let me use the second coupon. Oh well, I guess $2 is okay for cereal, though I probably could have gotten it for cheaper using the coupon with a good sale at another store. It was worth a try!

I usually get my coupons Friday early evening and they mostly coincide with the current week's flyer that is ending that night. Sucks because by the time I get home from work, I check my email and find a great offer but just too tired to go back out to pick up just 1-2 items.

Now that I've been using PC Plus more, the printing aspect of these offers are really annoying. Most of the time I print them and carry them in my purse in case I find a good deal but mostly they're a waste of my ink and eventually goes into the recycling bin.

SDM got their mojo back. Got some great, great ones this week, going to use almost all of them, including
$1.50 off any household cleaner (Lysol wipes are on sale)
$2 off any cereal (gonna get some free or almost free cereals, will see the selection)
$3 any Colgate toothbrushes which are on sale for $2.99!
BOGO coffee crisp (my FAVE)

So I used my BOGO Coffee Crisp just now and the BOGO only came off the first set and not the others. I have used these BOGO offers before and had gotten multiple sets with them. Strange.

Already posted my shop in the bragging thread, but Loved my offers this week also:
2$ off any Colgate toothbrush (some are on sale for 1,99$)
1.50$ off any cleaner (used on Lysol wipes on sale for 1.99$)
2$ off any refrigerated cheese (500g Armstrong is on sale for 4.99$)

I tried to use the toothbrush coupon but cashier refused to enter it. She said as the price of product is less(1 cent) she can't adjust the price in the system since it's not the manufacture coupon but the shoppers own offer. I will try again at another shoppers though but it suck as I saw so many people post that they got the deal and I still could not use it
i used my $8.00 off coupon on pampers and also used VIB coupon for 3000 BP with it. So $10.99-$8.00= $2.99( and got around $4 in points back). Still confused about using the same coupon once or not. I don't want them to freeze my account for violating the rules or something. You never know with shoppers what they can and can't do.

Just try again at a different time/location. I get these gems of coupons every now and then. When the cashier follows the instructions on the coupon, the price auto adjusts to $0, no problem. I try to mix these with my regular shop but sometimes I will just go in and pick up that 1 item and cashiers are bewildered when the receipt prints out. There is one cashier at my local Shoppers that refuses to take these so I just don't bother with them and go elsewhere.
