Of the three locations in the mall, the one outside Harry Rosen has to be a really good idea. Centre Court might be too busy and same with Urban Eatery. Something to see while eating a meal or having a snack break.
I am assuming that some McDonald's locations will have the games shown on the tv in the restaurants as McDonald's is another Sochi sponsor. This thread is currently associated with: N/A2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Thanks for this! We were wondering if they'll do anything at the Air Canada Centre or Rogers Centre. Previously they'd open it up so you can watch with everyone on the big screen. They usually take a donation item

You're welcome, torontogal! I was looking at various mall sites for new contests (as February started) and saw the lounge promotion. I'm sure department stores will have the coverage on as well.
The reason I think having the lounge by Harry Rosen is great-if customers have family/friends who don't want to be in the store, the lounge is a place for them to relax and wait.
Would love to see pics of the lounges if anyone is venturing downtown this weekend.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Apparently they also have viewing lounges in the CBC lobby

I noticed Lime Ridge Mall's website for the Hamilton mall also mentions a viewing lounge. No information on where but it must be the food court where there are suspended tvs.
Maybe Cadillac Fairview is doing the lounges Canadawide in its locations? Could not find anything on CF's News tab nor on the CBC site.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Lime Ridge has set up two "living rooms" where the open court is when you enter from the Old Navy wing into the main part of the mall, level 1. Regular size flat screens and seating is for about 4-6 people in each room.
