If I could afford to that day/week yes I would give the cashier the cash, great question. This happened 1 day when I was out with my mom many years ago before debit cards and such and my mom gave the cashier the $10.00 or so the lady was short, they lady was so embarrassed but grateful she also had a little 1 with her so I think that made the difference to my mom.

Hi All,
Happy Monday....
The start of another week/month.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Did some shopping on Saturday, tried to stay within the budget, wasn't too bad, just a little over, but the best I've done in a while.
Had an awesome day yesterday...spent it with my family....SB day.
I have lots of food left over from yesterday, so need need to cook dinner today.
Well off to do some cleaning and laundry.
Have a great day all .

I have decided that I am going to really not buy anything this month but fresh food (milk/eggs etc) unless it is a super duper deal. And really try to purge as much as I can. My goal will be to post minimum 10 new items a day on sell groups. So that is my top priority this month.

Once was in Branson, when I was on a bus trip, the woman in front of me came up short to pay for the yams for her Thanksgiving dinner. I paid the difference and said "Happy Thanksgiving".
A couple of weeks ago, a woman in front of me was shopping for a number of people in her group home. One of her clients had not given her quite enough money for what was on his list. It was a small amount so I paid it and that way she didn't have to put any of the items back and her client got what he needed.
Before Christmas, when I was shopping with a SDM gift card, an elderly lady behind me was counting out her change to buy food for her cat. She must have known the cashier because she called her by name and asked if the cat food was still on sale. I had a small amount left on my card (under $3) so I handed the lady the card and asked her to please use the balance on me. By the look on her face, she was very pleased and grateful for that little bit on the card.
Sometimes, when we can, we just have to pay it forward.

So I have been watching my food intake & food choices and let me tell ya it`s not cheap, I used to buy produce but not in the quantities I have purchased on the weekend and half the fruits are already gone .
I pm`d and purchased the cheapest produce available that I LIKE which is important gotta like it or I won`t eat it. The thing I find the hardest is my bread products I miss them, I used to love eating a whole package of Knorr Butter & Herb sidekicks (yummers) for lunch or supper depending on the day but no more .
If you are a snacker what if your healthy snack of choice? I'm looking for some ideas as I have been having popcorn in the evenings with popcorn seasoning (popcorn is popped from the kernels - no bags here).
Ashley you mentioned that you make oatmeal to go, so it's in the fridge and ready to go do you have a recipe for this that you could share with me and the other ladies if they are interested.
DS1 is anxiously awaiting the sale of his train tracks tomorrow, the lady is coming around lunch time so he will have to dig out the rubbermaids and bring them upstairs so they are at the door when she comes.
I also like Frugalmama need to take some pictures of some items to post for sale, should take them tonight, sounds like a challenge (lol).2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!
