WOW, all I have so far is my T4 still waiting on everything else to come in. Hoping it comes earlier than last year my taxes were done weeks after everyone else's in my family last year because my paperwork came in so much later than theirs. Although getting kind of worried as my mom got all of her stuff from one of the companies I am waiting on and I have nothing yet.

Still waiting on some T4, hopefully they come sooner than later.
I totally agree, they should teach more more practical everyday math in school.

Still waiting on some paperwork. I do my taxes through H&R Block online. It's free (maybe just because I don't have a lot to claim) and I know it well so I can get through it quickly.

I just filed my taxes (all I had was a tuition slip) for the first time on my own using SimpleTax. I really hope I didn't mess anything up! It sends directly to the CRA but I'm printing a copy of it to keep up with my previous paperwork records.

Parents who need their university/college students' tuition slips should remind their offspring of the tax slips (put the date into their organizers/cellphone calendars) before reading week totally makes them forget. I have yet to hear of universities/colleges making the slips available on student portals prior to Feb. 28-it is the day when students can begin to print them off.

Still missing a lot of stuff...T4 for me and hubby, Student loans interest paid, RRSP...then I have to rip my hair out doing the northern deduction crap. Every year I vow to be more organized for this, and every year come tax time, it's the same thing. One day I'll actually put all the receipts in the envelope on the corkboard like I always intend to.
I have my T4E (online), daycare and kids' activities (well I kept the first $500 of them. After that it is useless)

Waiting on one more T4, have everything else ready!
I have been filing my own taxes (paper forms) since I was 15 years old, very lucky that it was taught in our math class! This return should be a little interesting as I have daycare receipts, tuition, children's fitness and my public transit to claim. Should be able to figure it out though.

I started using quicktax when I started having daycare receipts. I'm glad I did. I had subsidized daycare and quicktax told me to not claim the daycare receipts so I could get more in childtax credits. Worked out well and never would have know if not for quicktax suggesting it.
