Lets be honest when the time comes to get a gift for someone, we panic. I thought we could share some ways to put together cheap and easy gift ideas.

No link but there are many variations to this one.
V-day use pink red candies.
Bdays use fav colours m&ms.
So many great ideas come to mind with this one.JOIN NOW WIN BIG in the Survivor Pool starting in the Spring

Gifts come from our stockpile.
The stockpile items were purchased inexpensively.

I love to do photography so I take the photos, edit them, get them printed and attach them with little double sided sticky squares, to blank card stock I never make 2 the same so when I want to take a hostess gift to someone, I tie 4 or6 up with a ribbon and take them along. They are generally well received and even people in our own family know they can write a note in them and send them to each other and no one else will have sent one the same. Cost per card......$1.50

I made a feminie care basket for a co-worked when we did secret santa at work.
I paniced at first thinking I wouldn't have enough stuff but after a short stop in my stockpile the basket was LOADED with stuff and was easily worth over $100 in retail value when the budget was only $20. Best news - I didn't even spend $20 on all the stuff despite buying it previously with coupons. I bought a cheap basket at dollarstore and some of that cellowrap and did it up nice. She was VERY happy with it.
I would do this type of thing again, but it is only good if you know the receiver isn't brand loyal.Insert Clever Signature Here

For Christmas, I usually do baskets (men's or women's ones) full of stuff I can get either for free or $1-2 per item that I accumulate throughout the year.
For smaller things I buy throughout the year: hand soaps from Bath and Body Works when they have a really good sale, movie tickets I can pick up for free through reward programs or for $8-9 a piece, hand cream, chapstick or lip gloss, etc.
For kids gifts I redeem neutral things from reward programs or use credits on Chapters or Amazon (also from reward programs) and watch the sales for stuff that I can use. I currently have a closet full of board games, puzzles, books, art supplies, etc. that are waiting for kids birthdays and Christmas.
