Going out for lunch with my friends that I have known since Grade 4 (I'm 55 so you do the math) is uplifting & fun. I can't think of any other place I would rather have been yesterday. They are supportive & encouraging....certainly in my camp. We had so many laughs & shed a few tears. Uncertainty is one of my enemies right now, as I need to continue to keep up this kerfuffle on the positive side of town.

I have a very important CT scan scheduled down at PMH for tuesday - my regular hospital day. Counting on the results to be promising & good.

Theres nothing better for us than a few good laughs...as long as we don't wet the pants, LOL You look amazing may I say. Keep your hopes high and your enjoy every day. My prayers are with you every day!

One of the most unique Dragon Boat T Shirts that I've seen. I have a few friends who participate Dragon Boating for fund- raising for breast cancer & this is one of the shirts from an event in Australia.

We all need to keep the dialogue open when it comes to cancers & sarcomas.

Hey everyone,

Yesterday was such an easy day for me. Went into the great big bad city of Toronto for my CT scan at PMH. Sat outside on University Avenue & watched the world go by at a very feverish pace. People seem to be on a mission to hurry up & get there. We bought "street meat" from the hot dog stand & even had time to feed the pigeons.
The construction that is taking place just about every place you turn around, makes for a difficult & frustrating drive when it comes to getting around T.O. - but I made it through another month of treatment & appointments.

July was a very difficult & long month for me. My mind is still coming to terms with the loss of Sue. What a treasure of a woman she was. One thing I can truly say about her, is that she sure defined endurance, perseverance & bravery with such dignity. She is ever present in my heart & I feel as though she is with me & I find comfort in that. Time has a way of making things better & that is beginning to happen for me.

It is still my job to keep this Sarcoma from doing any sneaking around in my body & I am definitely up for that task!

Construction and downtown navigating might just steer me to the street meat carts too Loocie!! I am glad July is behind you and another round of your appointments are done. Keep fighting on. Again I am so sorry for the loss and sadness you still feel about your friend Sue.

Loocie, I'm glad to hear that another month of treatments & appointments have come and gone. That's awesome! But we gotta talk about that street meat thing. lol

Feeling good & am very relieved to have another CT scan under my belt - A scan that show no change!!! That means that there is no growth in existing tumours & there is nothing suspect showing up that requires investigation.

I breathe a sigh of relief that I seem to be holding down the fort.

Anyways......... I am concentrating on enjoying the rest of summer. Spending time with friends, doing a little bit of decorating in the house. I have a few ideas that I want to try out & see how it goes. I'll keep you updated on that one as I'm a bit of a slowpoke with a paintbrush.
