    I've made a few, depends on what age. I've made my own music makers with beans and rice in different containers. I've also knotted face clothes and soaked in water then frozen them as teething rings. Pots and pans with wooden spoons as drums.

    Kids are pretty creative. They'll make a toy out of anything. (seriously, my kids once played for hours with empty cereal boxes)
