As some of you may have noticed, plenty of games, both retail and digital have been receiving price bumps. Games like Watch_Dogs are now listed as $69.99 on PS4 and Xbone, Yoshi's New Island on 3DS that just released is $44.99, etc.

Sony also confirmed that the price of the Playstation 4 will be seeing a whopping $50 price increase in Canada to $449.99. Accessories such as the Dual Shock controller and PS Eye will be increasing by $5 as well. No word on Vita price increases. Source: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2014/03/1...g-up-in-canada

Microsoft 'has no plans' to raise the Xbone price yet, but I wouldn't count on that holding for too long. http://www.torontosun.com/2014/03/14...-4-going-up-50

No word on the impact of the 3DS and Wii U price from Nintendo as of yet. Given the 3DS has seen some $179.99 for the XL though, it might be a good time to pick one up if you were wavering.

Just thought some of you would like to know, in case you were thinking about picking up either console, or pre-ordering games before the prices increase (although many of raised prices now.)
In case you were wondering 'why', it's because the CAD has been struggling for a few months now and we're sitting around $0.90 USD. Predictions are the CAD will drop to about $0.85 later this year before rebounding, if it does.

Happy deal hunting everyone.
