Deep Fryer, Need Help...

We don't deep fry so no help here

We have the tfal ez clean. The base and basket are metal, not rusting. The oil gets strained out after each use, and is stored in a bin at the bottom. It all goes in the dishwasher too, this is the only deep fryer I will own. I have owned others that were such a pain in the @ss to clean it wasn't worth the hassle of ever using them.
