Yes it would be cheaper our air was working last summer but went on the hottest of all days and we just about died lol it ended up just being the fuse so fingers crossed it still works come summer
They did say we could pay it off any time well the first company said you would have to pay it at the anniversary but yes it can be paid off.

Hey Anna, DH used to work in the trade (he worked alongside a licensed gas fitter/heating and cooling guy). I suggest getting a few more quotes. He says a good quote for the repair would be under $1000. At least the weather should be warming up and if you are able to put the purchase of a new furnace off you can.
Sorry to hear about the unexpected expense!"There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

Ok so we called union gas and asked if they would check the co reading they told us get out and the fire dept was on the way.
The fire dept were nit able to get a reading but gave us a form saying not to turn it on until its checked by a technician. That was saturday.
So we hummed and hawwed mom was gonna rewrite the morgage to the pay for it and the new furnace.
Today we called another company he camee out cleaned it up it was filthy. Found a cut wire. Fixed yhat found a loose connection fixed that and cleaned oyt the dust and dirt. Did a co readibg level was 0.
Long story short cost $100 twice and we have heat.

Thx for that our furance started acting up lasy year too. Of course the guys who serviced itcsaid our board was gone. Well why does it still work while we have it on manual. We have run the fan continuously for the heat to circulste when it does kick in. Otherwise if we put it on auto the fan wont kick in when the heat does. Im gonna chdch it out.
