Fortino's Fiesta Mall in Stoney Creek-new store to open in July

All of the fixtures in the store are pretty fancy, not just the chest freezers. As for the pharmacy, perhaps rexall isn't staying, but besides, given the average age near that area, you cannot have enough pharmacies lol. There are at least a dozen on King St. in downtown Stoney Creek lol. Why do you think the LCBO wouldn't be there without Fortinos? It has to be somewhere in Stoney Creek.

The store was mayhem today but I'm glad to have it near me. It has more of an upscale feel than other locations. It's more like a Longo's. I wasn't surprised that there was a pharmacy...what I was surprised at is that there was no Joe Fresh section. Anyways, Fortino's may be pricey, but PC products often aren't, and hey, I get my coupons and do my banking there so I'm thrilled with it.

we just left there - very nice and lots of fresh food but I don't think it will last. It seemed that all my PC Point offers didn't work - got a few things of my list and got no points. I emailed them and they have been good to add them the next day.

I know that some gentlemen were offered the roses as well on their way out of the store.
So no Joe Fresh expansion in the new stores. If the other Fortino's (Eastgate) flips into the No Frills Superstore, let's hope Joe Fresh dept is retained at that store.

The lilac-coloured rose from last week's grand opening is still holding on though the flower has bent on the stem. Guess the splash of ginger ale in the vase water helped last week!

September SNAP Hamilton had an ad showing the listing of Festitalia events-no special event shown for Fiesta Mall Fortino's.
Sat. Sept. 20-Grape stomp, 10am-12pm, at the Mall Rd. Hamilton store.

I don't know if other Hamilton area Fortino's stores have someone in a black polo shirt chatting up customers about PC Financial's regular Mastercard (I thought it was for the Black World card but he said it wasn't) offers and the free cookies/shopping bag +$20 free groceries offers but Fortino's Ancaster had a rep in-store after 11am today.

Mom had redirected his efforts on me. While keen to get a free bag (did not see any in his cart but did see PC choc. chip cookies, which I don't like), I declined to particpate in offer (had an ipad? or two with him). But did say I was on the website last night looking at something.

I thought there was a marketing promotion in the works on the day, like the red booths where marketers/aka contractors were trying to get customers to enter the survey for a chance to win a $500 gift card (fine print revealed 1 prize during contest period of January to August-if it was a monthly prize, I would have entered).
