Long story short cra is holding my refund due to non compliance of filing my business hst returns. I have since filed them and set up a payment plan. But I spoke with a rep and she said it can take up to 30 days for the hold to be pulled, but usually 3-4 business days.

Was just wondering if anyone has been in this situation and how long they waited for their hold to be lifted.

I need that $1700 tax return haha

Have not had this experience. Since you found out reason for hold, go with the estimated time turnaround of 30 days as CRA probably wants to ensure prior years' filings are all A-OK before removing that hold.
Good thing you caught up! If you know the reasons why you delayed filing, figure out a system to keep 2014's paperwork ready for next year and block time/hours for filing>put the appointment in your calendar, whatever form it is in.

Yep, not only holding but also deducting what you owe them prior to refunding the difference to you.
