We bought a hartz flea and tick collar for my cat at dollarama, and put it on tonight. Thank GOD my sister did her research, because we could have lost him.

There are so many horror stories here (warning, gruesome pictures on some posts) of just that product. If you have any sitting at home, THROW THEM AWAY. Make sure nobody can use them.

We have since scrubbed the cat with some dawn in the shower (he hated that, and I have some wounds to prove it) and we will watch him carefully, he only had it on for a few hours so hopefully he won't end up sick.

There are stories about all kinds of Hartz products, so get rid of ANYTHING you have.

That is so sad wen they sells somthing only to get our Fury Babie sick. They do that for human product, imagine for animals, they are less careful. Thank you for sharing good info. and I will let everyone that I know not to buy them at all........

I was reading about people reacting to this stuff. I would be terribly upset if my pet was allergic
to the product, but IF one of my loved ones suffered a life threatening reaction from it, well that would be a whole different ball of wax!
