Not coupon related but need SCer's help....
I know it's not coupon related but I could really use the extra eyes of SCer's in Langley :)
William is a 10 month old blue tick coonhound that was adopted from the SPCA (Kelowna I think) and when he was at Petsmart with his new family the next day he backed out of his collar and bolted :( That was April 6,2014. Since then his family is frantically searching for him.
I have also been spending several hours searching. If you are out and about in Langley could you keep your eyes peeled for him?
If you do see him please DO NOT chase him. Just call his mom (here number is listed below). He is sunning scared and since the area is so busy he might bolt into traffic!
Thanks everyone:flowers: NEWEST POSSIBLE SIGHTING! Possible sighting of William just reported!!! Caller said he saw a dog looking like William near 56th and 211th walking in tall grass along the side of the road. He was heading towards Langley Secondary School and the church. The sighting w...as Wednesday (May 21st) at 930pm. The caller tried to entice the dog over however he seemed a bit skittish. We will be out around that time this evening (and every evening!) in the hopes of spotting him. This area is forested and farm land and there could be many places he's hunkered down! If you are in that area and see him please do not chase but call us ASAP! Feel free to share. Petsearchers have been advised of the latest info! Thank you!
UPDATE APRIL 15, 2014 THERE WAS a possible sighting of William in the vicinity of Winners (near 200th and the Langley Bypass/Hwy. 10) on April 12, mid afternoon. The info has come via third party just recently and is being followed up on for confirmation, but we do not have direct contact with the sighter. It definitely fits what we were expecting, given how William was travelling. PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED AND CALL ASAP IF YOU SEE HIM!
He has been sighted at the following cross streets, and is likely to resurface in any of these areas (in sighting date order):
Petsmart (Hwy 10 & 200th)
McDonalds (Fraser Hwy & Hwy 10)
Near Langley airport (on 56th avenue, right near LSS and the church)
Army and Navy (56th Ave and 204th St)
Near Winners (hwy 10 & 200th again)
Hes made a loop back to where he went missing, and all sightings have been in heavily populated areas. PLEASE JUST CALL and DO NOT attempt to catch/coax him if we have a sighting, we have tracking dogs/bait dogs and traps/cameras etc ready to go at a moments notice. He is very scared and will not come to anyone.
The help is much appreciated for anyone out looking!
