Hi everyone
When we eat plain pasta, I just use dry stuff, but when we eat filled pasta like ravioli or cannelloni, I used to buy Olivieri. But they just changed the recipe for the beef pasta and labelled it "new and improved." It is definitely not improved. The meat is orange.
Been eating this brand since I was a child so not sure what is a good alternative. Found "O Sole Mio" and it was pretty good but the store that sold it is very, very far away (we just happened to be in the neighbourhood).
Any suggestions on fresh pasta brands and where to buy? Making your own fresh pasta is time consuming and we only do it at Christmas and Easter. Sometimes you just need the quick stuff

make your own pasta, nothing in store beats it!and yes you are right, it is time consuming but worth it. if i have time i make my pasta and freeze it.if i want pasta i just put it frozen in my boiling water. works great.

I agree with making your own tbh, even though it takes time. Make it in a huge batch and freeze it. If you take an afternoon to do it, you could probably churn out at least a dozen family meals worth of ravioli.
Experiment maybe with the store brand kinds, if not? I've tried the safeway and rcss store brands and neither were bad.
