I was disappointed with the show last night. They left us hanging at the finale and nothing this episode, we only saw 3 characters...boo. Would have been a good episode mid season, but not what I wanted last night

Nice to have a regular style show back.
Ha, so is Alex on the lam or did deLuca drop the charges?
Amelia needs to go home.
Still don't like Eliza.

I really liked this episode. I don't know why. Usually the episodes that don't progress the plots annoy me. I liked the character who was the high-risk prisoner. I was thankful it wasn't a "nod-to-an-era" episode.
I don't like Eliza either. I think it is her teaching methods don't match her approach to people, which when you think of it, makes her a hypocrite. She is a believer in the learners...but not in the teachers. You can't have it both ways. You either believe in "people" or you don't! Her teaching style should make her personality more like Arizona.Last edited by Granger; Fri, Feb 3rd, 2017 at 03:05 PM.

Didn't like last week's episode, being 'all about Jackson' - but I did like that he and April got together at the end. However, it would have been nice if they would have showed a little bit about them in this week's show.
This week's - Maggie and her mom, kind of odd how they handled it. Still don't like the idea of Meredith and Riggs getting together.
Added - I watch "The Catch" - watching yesterday's episode this morning and one man looks SO familiar - it's the guy who used to play George on Grey's. He's playing the brother of one of the main characters.Last edited by Natalka; Fri, Mar 24th, 2017 at 02:59 PM.

Natalka, lol, we have completely different opinions! I loved seeing about Jackson, but hated him and April getting together (see drives me insane). And Riggs has actually grown on me for some reason
I agree though it was weird how Maggie and her mom was handled.

Oh, what a struggle - having had two parents go through cancer and treatments, I sure could relate about having to make decisions.
So very sad, I went through a lot of tissues...
The song which I loved in this episode is originally from this movie

Good episode!
Oy, tear-jerker song, though - when Jackson shows Maggie her mom's photos

So I guess it's a go with Meredith and Riggs.
Gee, I felt so badly for her with the planecrash flashbacks - but wowsers, what a trooper.

Well, I'm glad Maggie finally knows about Meredith and Riggs, but I'm still not happy with Meredith about doing this - whatever happened to the girlfriend/sister code of not going with someone you know someone else likes?
Such a sad, sad situation with the pregnant woman - but, oh how I cried when the guy was holding the baby after she passed away...
The worm situation was so gross - but I'm so glad the guy came back to her in the end.
Hoping Webber and Catherine get back - and stay - together.

I don't really care for Meredith. I do like Meredith and Riggs, much as I liked Meredith with Derek. I find Maggie to be a whiner. I agree with the code, but Meredith and Riggs had something before Maggie was in the picture. Meredith should have been honest. I guess it is not a drama with out a real love triangle. Funny too, now that I think of it, I don't really like Meredith or Maggie on their own, but I do like their sisterhood. Meredith is a character who has grown on me. I think after losing Derek, she has become more likeable on her own. Perhaps her loss has softened my heart.
I agree with you on the other three sentiments!"There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

Well, that was one FAB finale, and I have shed the tears to prove it!
Edwards was absolutely amazing in this episode - and she quit. In real life, she's leaving the show, too - for a new HBO drama.
About Hunt's sister - gosh, I just don't know how he's going to handle things with his flashbacks/PTSD and all....
Glad The Evil Doctor was fired; she shouldn't have been put in the show at all!
See y'all next season!
Oh, in other news - and coincidentally with all the firefighters in tonight's episode, there will be a Shonda spinoff - for mid-season 2018. - the main character will be introduced in a Grey's episode next fall.

Just finished catching up with the season - I hadn't watched any tv since last summer until I got out of the hospital in Dec.
My, what an episode about Bailey - bawled like crazy at the ending, hit really close to home for me.
