I say they all get stingy once they get popular, from airmiles dropping points values to the point where I can't be bothered to collect them anymore, to PC Plus that was amazing when they 1st rolled it out, to Optimum. They start off nice and generous to get people to form a certain shopping habit with respect to a specific store or product, and then they start pulling back on the value of the deals once they think their customers have internalized and formed a habit shopping a certain way. No news there.
