I have wanted to try using those Tofu Shirataki noodles ( fettuccine ones ) and I was wondering if anyone has used these ones before? Is that a good price? 4 for $5.00 ?

I am thinking since Food Basics is the cheaper version of Metro and they have the .44 cent sale often, maybe that is the connection??

I've used them before. They were $1ish. I didn't like them. Bland and rubbery. It's pure tofu. If you get the small noodles instead of the fettuccine ones you can use them as the protein in stir fries.

The 88 isn't exciting but Metro is not the only store that does that. No Frills does it all the time

Yeah. It's just weird though. Most of the things aren't really even on sale, except that maybe on a normal day the price ends in .99. Are there really a lot of people falling for that?
