    Hi,

I have the latest generation iPod shuffle and my cable is going faulty (it only charges and is seen by the computer of you hold the cable and iPod parallel to the USB port. As soon as you let go, it is not recognized and no longer charges. I caught one of my kids folding the cable by the connector (the plastic is starting to come away a bit) so I'm certain that is the cause, my iPod works perfectly!

So, I went to look for a new cable, $15 plus tax seems to be the going price. I think that is steep when you can get a complete new iPod for $40.

Does anyone have and suggestions where I can get one for a better price? I saw one for $5 but they wanted $12 shipping!!

    TIA

I'd recommend monoprice.com - really good prices and the shipping to Canada is reasonable.

Yup, eBay is the way to go. Typically free shipping, no duties, no taxes, and they are cheap (so order 2x if you like). That's where I order practically everything (versus paying some Canadian retailer their inflated price).
