Lol....Um, Tara? Sorry to say...NOT going to happen, Sweetie! I'm trying to get better, not break more bones!!!
Unfortuantely my progress has been stalled by the placement of the two top screws, which are just bordering on top of my tibia next to the joint below my knee. It's painful to walk now, so no more major weight-bearing or stressful exercises until I see my surgeon on the 14th. I imagine her decision will be to take them out which means going under again and getting my now nicely healed incision re-cut. Lovely. But whatever works, right?? RIGHT?! Absolutely....

O My Gosh Lynn.. really.. wow. you'd think they'd have done the surgery right.. you poor thing.
for all that trouble.. tell them you want everything replaced to new while your in..
this just hasn't been your year.. let us know what the surgeon says.

Thank you, Skippy....I was happy that my surgeon was able to get me in for surgery on Nov 7th, but otoh, I'm terrified. Not so much of the surgery (although there IS that), but what if it doesn't work? What if the pain doesn't go away with those two screws removed? I want to walk by Christmas, and I'm hopeful, but still.......scared....What's that expression: hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.....
