I always ask if things are still available because people DON'T take their ads down! I actually had someone say to me "Ugh, why do people keep messaging me about this? I sold it a month ago!" Uh, take your ad down, then?
Good for you for being prompt at removing sold ads, because a lot of people are not! It's so annoying to message people and find out things are already sold.

I've sold a handful of things since last updating on here.
I had a guy call me about my cooler wanting to come by and I told him I sold it quite awhile ago. Turns out he had emailed me as he was interested in it and I had given him my address and phone number and he never showed. Serves him right that it sold quite awhile ago. The ad was removed minutes after I sold it.Insert Clever Signature Here

Sold my humidifier (in the middle of a humid Toronto summer) after having it up for months. I guess there really is a buyer for (almost) anything, regardless of the season.

We just sold our 30 y/o kitchen countertops and cabinets for $300. We just wanted to get rid of them but the buyer was so excited he even came and helped us.

We finally sold our lot of 100 rubber dipped work gloves. Man I thought we'd never sell those darn things! I mean whoever bought them definitely got a good deal $125 for 100 pairs works out to $1.25 each when we paid $3 each pair in bulk a few years back. These are pairs that sell for $7 in stores. I guess we just needed the right person to come along and thankfully he did.

Coffe table we have had and loved for over 20 years. Sold it for 100.00. We need something with storage to maximize the space and knew as long as we had one that worked we would never bother to get something that suited the space. Of course now I have a big empty space.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

I've got someone coming tomorrow for our fiberglass kayak paddle I accepted $100 for it when I was asking $150. Its brand new, never used and bought for $209.99 a few years back. I guess downsize is the name of the game.
Then I have someone who is supposed to come on Saturday morning to buy our plastic petmate/igloo "dog" house. I say "dog" because we had a certain kitty who used it exclusively. We've never owned dogs. Selling for $30 which was a cut from asking $50 for it for several months now.
Will be glad to get both items gone as they are both massive and take up quite a bit of room.Last edited by PurpleBunny89; Thu, Aug 28th, 2014 at 10:24 PM.

Big surprise that the paddle guy cancelled 10 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive. His loss I guess, was going to sell him a top of the line, never used paddle for less then half price of we bought it for.
Just wish I knew as DH and I held off plans because he wanted to come. We could of gone to a movie and dinner.Insert Clever Signature Here
