I have been slacking off to but I did make $15.00 on some garden stuff on Saturday.

Finally got around to listing our old summer toys.

Just sold a little tikes 8 in 1 climber for $80.

Someone is supposed to buy the playhouse for $60 tonight, which just leaves a smaller toddler climber that I listed for $20.

I sell stuff on FB swap boards not kijiji as I live in a small town and do better with the local pages. Hope its ok that I post my sales anyways:

I've been cleaning out the garage and bsmt and have been posting items like crazy lol. Here's what I've sold so far in the past week and a half:

$50 for a bike rack for a truck or trailer hitch
$50 for an ikea kids storage unit with 6 bins
$50 for a jogging stroller
$30 for a double umbrella stroller
$25 for a baby bike seat
$25 for a toddler push car
$25 for a fisher price trike with handle
$15 for a small girls bike with training wheels
$15 for a dora trike
$10 for a curious george trike
$5 for a purple trike with handle (picked up free from someone's curb 2 years ago so free $$ for me )

And I have a few more sales pending:

$75 for a large metal baby gate with a swivel door
$40 for a toddler bed with mattress

Kids stuff has been selling like crazy! I'm going to see what else I can list today lol.

Best thing I've ever sold on Kijiji has been infant's Christmas costumes. Bought 21 of them brand new at Salvation Army for $0.50 a piece. ($10.50) Sold 20 of them (kept one, DS2 was 3 months old at Christmas then) on Kijiji for $5/each. Made a very quick $90 profit in late November - perfect timing for them to take cute photos, perfect timing for me to make some Christmas cash to spend on my kids.

Although I have made more money here or there because I sometimes clean houses or help people move to make a quick buck. I am surprised at what people would pay me for a bit of my time. It is hard work but has absolutely no overhead costs to me so I look at it as a free workout - that I'm getting paid for when I do it. Heck, often I get free lunch or even free stuff they no longer want. Got a free Mickey Mouse TV for the kids, lots of baby clothes, purses, brand new in box steam mop, a month old 32" Samsung flat screen, an ottoman on top of getting paid.

My best purchase was an 8-piece matching, outdoor patio set. It came with six chairs, a large table, umbrella and stand $50.00, delivery included. The same set was being sold at Canadian Tire at the time for over $300 plus tax. Unfortunately I no longer have the table (got left out during a bad storm) but I have been thinking about selling the chairs from it and will make my money back. LOL
