Last Friday when I checked the BabiesRus flyer,I thought that I would be late in getting a certain promo. I am putting a gift basket together for a family friend who recently had a baby boy. The promo was " get one Kaola diaper shirt ($4.99 value) & a Kaola bodysuit($3.99 value) WUB any Jumbo Huggies diaper @ $14.99. I didn't have access to the car that day but figured I'll try the closest store the next morning.
On Sat morning I left DS with DH, arrived at the store & got 1 of 2 packages of the diapers remaining on the shelf. Now, where to find the onesies? I asked myself..I was expecting to see them in the same spot...nobody to help so I wandered over to the clothing section & found a rack with onesies of the same brand; there was a notice posted that those were actually part of the promotion. I made my selection & roamed through the clearance racks. Bingo, some cute diaper shirts by Gagou Tagou with no pricing information.I love this brand BTW. I scanned one and it rang up @ $2.98..customer service scanned the other 3 which were the same price, $2.98. I decided to get them all, 3 for DS & one for the gift basket. After using my $2.50 Huggies coupon & a GC I had since my baby shower > 1 yr ago( that's to show how much I go to this store) I was only required to pay $.35( total was exactly $.37).. The actual of the promo was $11.49($14.99 Huggies diapers- $2.50 mfr cpn -$1 SnapSaves). I was so happy about my purchase, I only remembered last night to claim $1 cashback via SnapSaves...BTW, I still have another GC and when I asked the cashier to check the balance, it was a surprising $69...somebody's even more overjoyed now.

Great shop! Gift baskets are the best way to go- the retail value appears to be so high but when you search out the deals your cost is so low! I am also putting together a gift basket for a friend - right now the retail value is just shy of 200 and I have spent 38 OOP!
Thanks for sharing!!
