Thank you all.....it's good to be back. This week we start to prepare the motorhome for our journey east. It's been cold most of the weekend and it's raining today Gosh it would be nice for a few days of warmth and sunshine. Things are looking up though...weather is suppose to be warm this weekend, hell, it may even hit 20 We're going to do a trial run down to Lethbridge to ensure we have all the kincks and bugs out of the rv before heading out on our month long journey. Nothing kills a trip like vehicle issues part way through!

We picked up our motorhome yesterday, then headed out to Carstairs to pick up the tow dolly for our car that dh bought, then back into town to pick up our grandson at school (can you imagine, with the motorhome cause we were to late to go home and get my car) Needless to say, Ryder was shocked when he walked out the school doors and saw this 40 rv sitting beside the school. He was sooooo excited and asked if we could leave for our trip then, LOL He's so excited. I wanted to go out and clean it up today (gets dusty in the cabinets from sitting) but more rain again, so perhaps I'll wait and see what tomorrow will bring.......how am I kidding, tomorrow will be more rain!

welcome back. I wont go into details but I can relate to hoping things go back to normal. (In my case I really wonder if things will ever be normal again. but anyway this isn't about me.)

I hope you are feeling back to normal soon. enjoy your trip and then relax for a while you deserve it.

Thanks francine1985, I got a bit of dusting and cleaning done on the new rv yesterday and got a few things put away. This morning, it's raining even harder than yesterday, sigh.................

Thanks ticul. I really appreciate it It looks like we may get some sun by mid week, NEXT WEEK! So that will leave me a few days to organize the new rv. We are moving our 4th oldest daughter down to Lethbridge next Friday (it will be nice that our youngest will have a sister there with her), and we are suppose to be heading out on our month long trip to Ontario (and maybe beyond) the following day, Saturday, so I just feel a sense of urgency to get stuff done. BUT, there's no sense it dragging in the dirt and mud from outside.

Trips can be enjoying. What I really dislike is transferring everything you need into the rv. My dh worries about weight distribution and such, I just worry if I brought enough undies for everyone. LOL
