Dh has spent the past 3 days had polishing the outside of this puppy. It sparkles and I sure hope that when we leave its not raining, otherwise his hard work will be spoiled. I can't wait to hit the road and find some sunshine.

The thing I love the best about this rv is that it has an outside kitchen, I love cooking outdoors (when it's sunny, LOL) so I'm excited. I didn't think to much could get me excited at this age, but this does, LOL

It looks the same as this one except my bbq and fridge are stainless steel, as well as the sink and countertops. I didn't take pic's of mine, but this is the same

I PROMISE I will Lindi. I've had pretty good luck with Wi-Fi at most places we stay so I definitely will!!!! I really want to try and make time this trip and hook up with you, even if it's just for an hour or so. I'm starting to plan when and where we will stop. We are stopping in Dorion (near Thunder Bay to see my girlfriend Donna and her dh Murray. We met them in Texas several years ago and have become besties.

I will try and blog every day if possible. I would love to share my journey with my friends here. All to often many people spend their life dreaming and never doing. One thing about being ill is that we realize how precious life is and not to take if for granted. I am taking this as a new start, a new adventure, a new life....once we get back and drop Ryder off Our life on the road will be interesting to say the least.

Thank you all. I PROMISE I will blog, perhaps start a thread here in the tea room. Thanks you for the lovely comments about our rv It's 41.6 feet long. When you think that we will be in it for at least a few years, the space is required. Its has 2 bathrooms (We didn't and don't require that), but it came with the rv so..... I am starting to get excited about our journey, after our trip with Ryder and the condo is sold. I'm thinking it will be anywhere from August to September 1 that Bev will want procession (assuming she gets a mortgage), so there is still tons of planning to do. Furniture and items to distribute to the kids and a lot of stuff to be sold, but I think it will all be worth it in the end.

Life is just short to not follow your dreams!

Good morning everyone. So, Internet has been spotty at best, as has my cell service. Here's what's up so far. We left Calgary last Sunday, 10am, when we hit Saskatchewan and spent our first night in swift current. The next day we hit the road, only to get detoured 300 km out of our way due to road closures on hwy 1 and flooding on other highways. We eventually got through to Manitoba and spent our second night near Portage la Prairie

Day 3, 4 and 5 were fairly uneventful having us land in Lindsay at the Alpine RV Resort where we currently are. Unfortunately we chased the rain the entire way here and are just starting to dry out today ( hopefully)!!!!!

I'm going to spend tonight and tomorrow night with my stepmom as she is not doing very well. On Sunday we are off and heDing to Niagara falls for 3 nights ( hopefully sneaking in a visit with my sister while we are there). Then we will be on the move again.

i hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far. Talk to you all soon.

Morning everyone we are still in Ontario. After Peterborough/Lindsay we left for Niagara Falls. We spent 3 days there, then have started heading back west. We were in Sault Ste Marie for a few days and landed in Thunder Bay last night. Today we are going to Fort Francis and Kakabeka Falls, then on to Winnipeg to visit more relatives. Then were off to lake Manitoba (if the weather is decent) for a few days. Then not sure where after that, perhaps to the USA

hope you all had a great week and that the weekend is relaxing for you
