oh I'm late to the party, my advice would have been to consider using those little spongy things on a stick instead of a paint brush. I always get streaks with a paint brush and find the sponge much easier to get the paint evenly distributed.
but you did a great job, nice colour and the room definitely looks nicer than a plain white wall would. I also think your closet doors are pretty awesome.

Agree. Unless you are painting the same colour. Sometimes you can get a way with one coat if it is a slightly different shade with the same colour temperature.
If you have to use tape, you probably should be hiring someone to do the job for you. But if you do use tape make sure to pull it off fairly soon after you have finished. I have seen where folks have taped then waited a few days to remove the tape the paint on the wall comes off too.
Seeing as you will be doing 2 coats the paint with primer is an expensive unnecessary extra.
If you buy a very good brush and paint with a steady hand you don't need tape, on the base boards for example. The trick is to paint straight and with a steady reasonable speed hand. If you go too slow you will wobble. If you watch professionals, they paint fast. For two reasons (1) that's how they make money and (2) they do a better job with the cutting at ceilings, windows, baseboards, etc.

Oh, I like the colour. You did a wonderful job.
It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.
