So some of you may know I had to have my cat put down recently, her health deteriorated extremely fast and it was either cancer or organ failure.
I can`t decide if I want another cat, a small dog, maybe even a nice aquarium with some cool stuff in it..
*UPDATE*
So yesterday morning I went to the shelter to look around and one cat leaped at me from the kennel, he was friendly, giving me kisses and playing right away.
I went back later in the evening and he was still there so I grabbed him!
His name was Chip and it still is cause I can`t think of anything else. He's so sweet! He's 2 and such a big boy lolThis thread is currently associated with: N/ALast edited by Candini; Wed, Jul 9th, 2014 at 11:10 AM.

So very sorry about your kitty, Candini.
Usually the decision about which pet depends upon lifestyle - you've had a cat, so you know what's up with having one - and you can even leave one alone for two days.
A dog is a lot more labour and lifestyle intensive, and an aquarium is a whole 'nuther kettle of fish, lol!

Definitely a lifestyle choice. I have both cats and dogs and they are very unique to themselves. Dogs are needy and worship you. Cats are cuddly but only on their terms.

I saw a blue lobster at a pet store. Thought that was pretty cool, but aquariums are such high maintainance (I assume) Aren't small dogs like cats? Like obviously walking them and stuff... Oh I don't know.

Well just do not do it on a whim that is all. The adoption of a new pet is quite a commitment ( as you know ). Also dogs can be yappers and if the neighbours are the type to complain it could be an issue. Of course the walking daily of them whether they are large or small dogs is another thing to pencil into your day.. The cost is another consideration, vet bills even when they are in great health can be an issue if the budget is tight.
If you get something make sure to post adorable pics though because that is the most important thing of all! lol

Oh Candini!!
I am sorry to read about your little angel, adapting to losing them is so difficult. But I am also so happy that your heart is still open for another little angel and you found each other. Congratulations on your new baby and I have a feeling that Chip believes he is in heaven with so much love and a beautiful home and loving mommy. He is completely adorable. Thank you for sharing your little angel and many happy snuggles and years to come full of love and happy memories and I know your little angel is happy for your too.
