ginger and garlic tea for a cold
boil a couple of mashed garlic cloves and some slices of fresh ginger root for 10 to 15 minutes. sweeten with honey or sugar if desired. works for me

allergic to scented fabric softener on your clothes?
vinegar may take out static and may not give you a rash

Ginger tea for nausea
Pressed garlic mixed with hot water for sore throat
Aloe vera for cuts and burn
Olive oil for chapped lips and dry skin
I found that cherries are good for muscle relaxant and insomnia

Nauseated? Drink dill GARLIC pickle juice. Even our DD laughed at the thought until she tried it one day...perhaps when she was pregnant?...but now swears by it if she's feeling flu-ish with nausea...

A bit of a zit? A teensy dab of Colgate regular toothpaste. The Triclosan dries it up nicely. Just don't put it on any skin around the affected area!
