    had a nice day until:
    birthday dinner with my dad and his so, ended up awful, sad to say...
    sighing.
    sort of to blame is his god darn alzhiemer's, but when i saw his hateful stare
    across the table, which she has never seen - and i have before the alzhiemer's
    i lost my breathe - have leftovers though.

    sorry sounds sad - was mostly, but for fun afterwords, was going to watch
    corry street ,,, (well programs move through the time zones)
    tried @ a ton of times - kept falling sleep (i hardly ever do that)
    finally woke up at 430 am, with my chin on my wrist, (not advised - hurts
    like heck and i think i was like that for 2 and a half hours)
    apparently i find that part funny, eeekkk etc.
    so slept for another 14 hours

    Oh, honestly! How did I miss this?!

    Chives, Alzheimer's is a horrible disease...I went through it with my Mom, and truth be told, the early years are the worst.....they imagine things...people listening at their bedroom door (at our home!), at their window, people stealing things (never happened), becoming angry and surly, nothing is ever right....Oiy, those were tough years. But then, sad to say, when it really takes hold, they're more confused than angry, more complacent and scared...eventually it takes them away from us altogether.
    If you ever need to chat, PM me anytime....

    thanks a lot - i know the damn alzheimer's is wicked and i do feel sorry
    for my dad but seeing that stare kind of took some of that away.
