I give my cat coconut oil about twice a week. She really likes it and begs for it when she sees the container, we are talking crazy begging like you shook a bag of Temptations treats. It has helped a lot with hairballs and I find that her fur is extra soft and shiny. I didn't just buy it for her though. I use it on my skin and hair too.

When my longhaired cat moved in some years ago, I discovered the joys of cleaning up hairballs. Usually they were delicately placed on DH's side of the bed. A girlfriend of mine told me about the hairball remedy found at pet stores. I spent the next 17 years trying to get it into him. I had it spit back out at me, spit onto the floors, walls and whomever was near enough at the time. I have removed hairball remedy from my own hair as well. If your cat takes it easily, great for you. I really mean that. Sometimes cats have a mind of their own!

Just picturing it makes me laugh, cats have some strange personalities, and when we think they're afraid of nothing at all, they will turn around and do something dump like this...to funny!
We all need a little sunshine every now and then
