Nail biting, on and off my whole life. Right now they are growing, sometimes I can go years then start again. Oh well I guess it's better than smoking.

They say "sitting" is the new cigarette... too many hours connected to this and other forums. Need more "exercise" vs "extra-size".

SC is my bad habit. lol. I'm on here way too often. With tapatalk I'm able to quickly check in throughout the day and it's great except that I fear I'll become one of those people addicted to devices. I make sure to put it down during meal times and family times but I'm trying to disconnect more often but man, it's hard! lol

habit? hmmm, well I would say addiction and it is only in my later years I am seeing it as that.
Legal substances I am speaking of that harm my health over the long term but I have trouble giving them up forever!
They include:
salt, sugar ( all forms ), coffee, unhealthy fats, processed food products. Are they considered a habit? Well I have a habit of going back to them when I should not, so yeah I guess.

Well, I kicked smoking nearly 3 years ago. (yay!!)
Was never an alcohol drinker and never did drugs. Really, my only bad habit now is coffee drinking and since I quit the smokes my coffee intake reduced commensurately. I drink 2 cups a day now (versus 2 pots before).
I don't think I could ever quit the coffee without someone else dying a slow miserable death. Naw....I think I'd better stick with it. LOL."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

oh wow. Sugar is a really good one walks!
yes. I am a sugar-a-holic. That stuff is like crack cocaine (well, about as much like crack cocaine as my imagination can muster for someone who has never tried crack! LOL)
But sugar--definitely addictive and totally hard to give up. Terrible stuff too. Very cancer causing."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

Worrying. Is that a habit?
I'm much better than I was before, but boy, do I ever have to remind myself not to worry, since those worries I did have, never materialized. Or, at least, most of them didn't.
I broke the habit of smoking, biting my nails....haven't had more than 1 glass of wine since this accident, so I beat the habit of: summer = wine on the patio almost anytime!
